October shows and more!

Hello all,

It’s been a few weeks since I got a chance to write. I will try to back track a bit to let you know what has gone on the past few weeks and what exciting things lie ahead. I have been really fortunate to be working with so many great musicians and songwriters!

On September 30, 2007 my good friend Mark Weinstock www.markweinstock.com  invited me to come check out a duo from New York City Called Jack Pot Luck. Jack Pot Luck was performing at The Moonshine Cafe in Oakville, Ontartio, Canada. Mark was sitting in with Jack Pot Luck www.myspace.com/jackpotluck   wich features singer songwriters Lilach Pearlstein on acoustic guitar/vocals and Gary Bonanni on acoustic guitar/vocals. I am really glad Mark invited me to this show! I really hit it off with these guys chatting about music etc. Before I knew it Jack Pot Luck invited me up to play as a guest on the old but in tune piano at The Moonshine. Even though this was our first time meeting and playing together we seemed to have a great connection musically. I ended up sitting in with them for most of their set! It was a really fun night and challenging for me as a musician as all their music was original. This was music that I had never heard before in my life!  My best bud Mark also sat in and he got to feature some of his original music which fortunately I do know. I hope to connect with Jack Pot Luck again soon. I will also post some pics of this night on my web site shortly.  The crazy thing was after we played the night was not over! Guitarist and songwriter Norman Liota finished off the night. Check him out at www.normanliota.com

The rest of my time this week has been spent gearing up for my upcoming shows in Toronto and surrounding area. Tomorrow night  Saturday October 13, 2007 I will be performing as a duo with folk rocker guitarist Lee
Springall at Laurinda’s Bar in Bradford, Ontario, Canada. Then on October 17th I will be in Oakville, Ontario for a showcase at The Moonshine Cafe, October 18th at The Royal York Hotel in Toronto and October 19th brings me back to my favorite acoustic showcase venue in Toronto The Renaissance Cafe.

In the songwriting department I have been working with Nashville based BMI lyrics writer Tom Yeager.  Tom and I have written three songs that we are going to demo professionally. I am really excited to go down to MUSIC CITY USA in November to produce the recording and network myself as a songwriter and musician. The three songs that Tom and myself have written together are titled GOODBYE LITTLE MISS 911, CAN’T FIND LOVE ON THE DIAL and INTO THAT MONTANA SUN

Tom is a great guy and a fantastic lyricist. You can check him out at

Some of the songs we have written together are posted at this page!

I think that is everything…I realize that this blog is mostly a music diary for my self but it has come to my attention that some folks are actually checking in and reading! So thanks for taking an interest and for all your support!

Please feel free to leave your comments, thoughts and concerns.
